i posted a recorded delivery letter -to be signed for from London to Kampala and it took 7 days to arrive in kampala. Its pretty efficient though the delay sometimes is down to whether the post has gone via Nairobi beefore getting to Uganda.

Funny thing is that is doesn't work the same way the other way round. It takes much longer to send something from Europe to UG.
But I did receive stuff. Like my Icelandic nephew sends me necklaces he made himself (which would make many African woman in Arua envious). And my mother has once sent me socks!!!!
