After Africa comes Europe.
In my case.
Yesterday I left Africa for Europe.
Three good friends took me to the airport, we had burgers in Flamengo Cafeteria and they pushed me through the security. Not easy, but it had to happen. I am glad I gave it almost 3 additional weeks after my contract ended, to finish off properly in Tanzania.
And this morning I met two other good friends in Zurich, and the day has so far been a soft introduction to Europe: Installed in the Albulatorium - a mix between a refugee camp and Christiania - a trip to Sauna am See, looking over the Alps from 78 degrees, lots of good coffee and food, and now redwine with my two favorite friends from Dar es Salaam.
Karibu!
